This is a way to connect you up with various other sites I have utilized over the years and found to be very helpful. May they be of good use to you. It is an incomplete list and there are many great sites out there that I will continue to add to this list. But these are many of the ones I have frequented over the years.

  • Sword Forum International – for all your curious questions with lots of knowledgeable collectors.
  • Old Swords – Register or just browse through the hundreds of items for sale as submitted by various sites
  • Ross Arms – A beautiful selection of higher-end pieces with some very informative articles
  • Alban Arms – Primarily a sales site with many very beautiful high-end pieces and lots of information
  • MDL Historic Military Antiques has another beautiful selection of high-end and rare pieces for sale and research purposes
  • Antique Weapon Store – A sales site with a wide range of pieces for researching or purchasing
  • Joe Salter has a large collection of various items for sale and also a separate Canadian site
  • Crisp & Sons is a handy site that sells current  regulation specification swords that I have contemplated contacting for the refurbishment of 19th-century British swords
  • Military Heritage is a sales site for high-quality replicas for reenactors. It also has a lot of very handy historical information.
  • Matthew Forde’s site has a number of pieces for sales plus some very good articles
  • Matt Easton (there must be something about the name Matt in conjunction with swords) has a plethora of information from articles he has written to YouTube videos plus some items for sale
  • Antique Swords has a large selection of pieces both for sale and sold items which are handy for researching
  • The Lanes Armoury has a large selection of pieces for sale with an abundance of information
  • Harvey Wither’s site has many pieces for sale plus various books that he has written
  • Stuart Mowbray’s site, Man at Arms and Mowbray Publishing, offers many publications for the antique arms enthusiast. Be sure to check out British Military Swords Volume 1:1600-1660. Great info and my kind of humour! Can’t wait for Volume 2.
  • Naval and Military Press has a humongous assortment of books at some great prices. I have purchased a number of them over the years.
